What is care and maintenance like for an Elevation concrete surface ?

Every surface is professionally sealed before installation and requires no special maintenance beyond the routine care you'd give any quality countertop.

As with natural stone, acidic substances can etch or discolor the surface if left too long, so wipe up spills promptly. Avoid cutting directly on the countertop, as knives can damage the protective sealer. Although concrete is heat resistant, we recommend using a trivet or hot pad under hot cookware to help preserve the finish.

Is Elevation concrete durable? I’m concerned that it may crack or chip.
