Our journey began with the ‘Stair Shelves’ project featured in the ‘Our Work’ page of this website. After moving to Dublin, our family purchased a beautiful but dated 1980s home that was ready for a transformation. The entryway was at the top of the renovation list, and we envisioned custom concrete stair shelves as the perfect complement to the home's contemporary design. Having previously lived with concrete countertops in our Colorado home, we already appreciated the warmth, texture, and character that concrete brings to a space.

With a passion for building and a willingness to learn, we took on the project ourselves. What started as a single DIY project quickly grew into more custom pieces throughout our home. As friends, guests, and eventually local designers admired the work, one respected interior designer told us we'd be "literally crazy" not to pursue concrete professionally. That encouragement inspired the launch of Elevation Concrete Studio in 2019.

Today, we bring that same passion to every project we create. Through years of refining our casting, finishing, and sealing techniques, we craft custom concrete pieces that are both timeless and durable—designed to perform beautifully indoors or out for years to come.
